Automatic Wheel Identification System

Newton's Model 2010 Wheel Identification Machine identifies, labels and stores to a database or plant network automotive wheels by industry number, description or other characteristics.

The Model 2010 accurately and rapidly identifies the industry number of both aluminum and steel wheels. The system makes the identification and attaches the label in less than 10 seconds per wheel. Ruggedly constructed for exceptionally long life, the system can automate any inventory of used or new wheels.

The system has the intelligence to accept lists of wheels to be purchased and reject those not desired for the inventory. It also has outputs to address downstream conveyor systems if required.

The printed label can include numerous items such as the industry number, a 2D or 3D bar code, a description of the wheel, an identifier of inventory status and virtually any information that can fit on the 3" X 4" printed label.

The labels are air installed so that there is no possibility to damage the wheel and can be deployed on all wheel sizes and materials.
